Built during Ray Ayotte's legendary Vancouver production era, this is a beautiful example of the drums that helped establish Ayotte as one of the world's premier boutique drum manufacturers. Featuring premium maple shells and their innovative Tune-Lock hardware, these drums are renowned for their warm, articulate tone, outstanding projection, and exceptional craftsmanship.

This sale includes the complete Pearl mounting system used with the kit:

This setup provides excellent stability while allowing the drums to resonate freely through their RIMS suspension mounts.

Condition

The kit is in very good vintage condition and has been well cared for.

The lacquer finish retains a beautiful deep gloss and shows only normal cosmetic wear expected from a professional instrument of this age, including minor surface marks consistent with careful use. Chrome hardware is clean, the wood hoops remain in excellent condition, and the shells are structurally sound.

Everything functions exactly as it should, and the kit is ready for studio, stage, or collection.
