Condition

This is a player's vintage Gretsch kit that has seen professional use over the years.

The drums retain their original Natural Maple finish, which shows age-related lacquer checking and finish cracking consistent with many Gretsch lacquer kits of this era.
Modifications

Please read carefully:

Rack toms have been refitted with Yamaha YESS mounts and original diamond mount holes covered with a plate. This kit does not include the Yamaha tom holder or tom arms.
Bass drum has been drilled for a Yamaha double tom mount.
Original Gretsch rail consolette mounting holes have been neatly plugged with bolts.
Bass drum features matching replacement wood hoops.
Batter-side bass drum T-rods are replacements and are not original Gretsch parts.

These modifications make the kit practical for modern gigging while maintaining the outstanding tone of the original Gretsch shells.
