A beautifully preserved and musically inspiring Leedy & Ludwig drum set from the early 1950s, finished in timeless White Marine Pearl. This kit showcases the elegance and craftsmanship of the Conn-era Leedy & Ludwig collaboration, offering authentic vintage tone and aesthetics from one of the most collectible periods in American drum history.

The set includes two bass drums (22” and 24”), allowing for flexible configurations or an impressive double-bass setup. A matching 6.5"x14" Broadway snare drum completes the ensemble, providing a full and cohesive sound across the kit.

Date Stamps & Hardware Details:

12" x 8" Tom – Date stamp: 5411 (November 1954) – Chrome hardware

24" x 14" Bass Drum – Date stamp: 5404 (April 1954) – Chrome hardware

6.5" x 14" Broadway Snare – Date stamp: 5405 (May 1954) – Chrome hardware - Modern 20 strand Puresound snare wires

16" x 16" Floor Tom – No date stamp, but matching badge and shell specs (circa 1951–1955) – Nickel hardware

22" x 14" Bass Drum – No date stamp, matching Leedy & Ludwig badge and period features – Nickel hardware

All drums feature 3-ply maple shells with maple reinforcement rings and original Leedy & Ludwig interiors, with the exception of the 24" bass drum, which has been professionally restored by TRS Drums. The 24" had its reinforcement rings redone and interior repainted to factory-correct spec — beautifully executed and structurally solid.

●Hardware: Original chrome and nickel plating with natural patina
