* note of interest: the bottom hi hat has been played. Lorne could not recall why or when.

These hi hats were the first edition of the Sabian Paragon Cymbals in Natural Finish designed for Neil Peart. Lorne (Gump) had these cymbals as backup for the the touring set. The 22" Ride and 19" Chinese were used as replacements. The remaining cymbals have been in warehouse storage since 2004. Later editions were in Brilliant Finish because Lorne and Bubba realized the polishing of the the Natural Finish favourably changed the sound - there was less breakage and they looked amazing!
